For In Conversation, I collaborated with transmasculine and non-binary people to explore their views on masculinity and how their experiences have developed over different stages of their lives. Using personal photographs as a starting point, these conversations address upbringing, male privilege, the body, race, name-changing, the family, and the politics of identity.
In Conversation was commissioned by The Wellcome Collection for their digital platform, Stories, as part of the series ‘Explaining Men’ curated by the poet Andrew McMillan.
